Study Finds Victimization Rampant In Schools

Photo by Twix, via Flickr Researchers for the study conducted a national telephone survey in 2012, of youth and parents, to assess exposure to in-school victimization during the previous year.
The study included assessments of 3,391 children and youth ages 5 to 17; nearly half of whom, 48 percent, had been exposed to at least one form of victimization.
The most reported form of victimization was intimidation/bullying (29.8 percent).
